Veterans who win contracts, together.

The Veteran Contractors Alliance is a free program for veteran business owners competing for local and federal contracts. Find teaming partners. Build your past performance. Get into rooms that move your business forward.

You served your country. Now you are trying to build a business.

And it is hard. Especially alone.

Most veteran business owners are stuck in the same loop:

☑ Watching other contractors win bids you could have gone after
☑ Hearing about teaming opportunities after they are already gone
☑ Not knowing who to call when you hit a wall on a proposal
☑ Being the only veteran in every room, trying to translate your service into a pitch deck

You do not need another free Facebook group. You need a room full of veterans who are already doing this.

What do you get when you join VCA

Community with veterans who get it. Daily access to a private Slack workspace full of veteran contractors actively bidding, winning, and helping each other grow. These are veterans who are in the work right now and willing to bring you in with them.

Team up and build your past performance. VCA connects you with veteran contractors who are actively looking for teaming partners so you can get on contracts, build your past performance record, and grow your portfolio at the SLED and federal level.

SDVOSB Opportunities Board. A dedicated space where members post active teaming needs, subcontracting opportunities, and prime contractor requests. If you are a prime looking for a capable sub or an SDVOSB looking to get on a bid, this is where those connections happen.

Post your teaming and prime needs. Have capacity and need a bid to fill it? Looking for a partner with a specific NAICS or past performance? Post it directly to the community and let members come to you.

Learning from active contractors. Monthly training sessions and open office hours with Bridget and Sheena. No theory. Just people who are in it showing you how they did it.

Opportunities you will not find alone. Teaming alerts, subcontracting leads, and bid breakdowns shared inside the community before they go anywhere else. Members help members win.

HOW IT WORKS

VCA is for you if:

☑ You are a U.S. military veteran
☑ You own an active, registered business
☑ You are already bidding or ready to start bidding on SLED or federal contracts
☑ You believe veterans help veterans win

WHO THIS IS FOR

VCA is not for you if:

☑ You are looking for a free networking group
☑ You want to watch and not participate
☑You are still in the early stages of starting your business and not yet registered.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • During the application, we require your branch of service and a DD214 upload. All applications are reviewed personally by Bridget or Sheena.

  • No. You need to own an active business and have the intention to pursue SLED or federal contracts. Many of our members joined before their first bid.

  • All active, registered business structures are welcome. You just need to own an operating business, not an idea.

VCA is a GovConNOW program built and operated by Sheena Parker and Bridget Fields. They are not teaching from a textbook. They are active contractors with verified wins at Atlanta Public Schools, Fulton County, DeKalb County, and more. They are working the same contracts they are helping you win.
